I am suprised in a way, there is a major recession going on.Still people i speak to will not relent stop travelling. Trips abroad are still very common. Citytrips are made with the same frequency as always. I myself find this a bit strange, but also am glad they spent their money like there is no crisis at all, as a matter of fact by spending the help to keep the cirs at bay. Therefore i am glad.. Just barely escaped the 'laying people off'wave, i must sadly register the fact my cousin (just 30 years old and with a career in ITC is destined to be let off too. Preperations are being made by the firm she works for. So the crisis is still making victims..

next thing
And it goes on.. In search of usage for my new phone I just learned about the possibilies to send blogposting trough MMS.. Isn't that wonderful. Just like Twittering and Second Life (who's been there recently: say the last two months)this service makes the distance beteween blogging and a PC less relevant. I can now easily type an message on my phone and sent it in whenever i please. It is not only the mighthy digital life we lead, it also airborne...

next step..
So cute... I made a gamble...
Information technology is evolving every day. The need to register systems and workprocessen and their relation is a first step of Business Process Modelling. It is a gamble of me, to start working in this field of expertise and knowledge.
I openly spoke out my doubts about my level of knwoledge in the world of ITC. The colleguee told me, it would be learing on the job, and just using plain old good sense. It triggered me. I made a vowe to become an Information Manager, and would achieve it in lets say two years from now..That way i would make my changes wider and greater on the labormarket.. Whoepee

Never before have i had such a pain in my buttocks. I've been rowing for more than three hours on end. You can imagine what that means, if your just an amateur who likes to row now and than. We've travelled to Roosendaal, a city in the west/south part of our country. Took almost two hours of driving. We were expected to arrive at 09.15 am. So I had to get up really early. Never mind get to the point. And that is we enjoyed our stay at Roosendaal, friendly people who even helped to put the boat into the water. We didn't have to do it ourselfes, so that's real nice start. The rowingtrip itself was less spectaculair, view was blocked bij reeds and waterplants. But we had an enjoyable intermission with a nice lunch and local beer. Always a feast
An English pub was the final destination of our visit in Roosendaal, after dinner we all went home. My pillow felt real nice, so did my bed at 10.30 pm.

do it!
You know, sometimes in life things fall in place, and the answer to a difficult question was already at hand, and close by, without you seeing it for yourself.
This happened to me during my holiday in Spain. With a different surrounding and another tempo in life and thus more relaxed, it came to me. All of a sudden, i decided to do something extra. I would start my only little enterprise. Not ment to become my main source of income, but just an enterprise to stay in touch with my former learned skills and earn an extra buck or two. So now, slowly but steady, we moving to a treshold, that could be a next stepping stone..

maintanance

Don't you just hate the fact that sometimes it feels like your entire freetime in sucked up with maintaining things in and around your house?
My computer needed a fix, the garden had to be done, The blinds on the outside of my house still needs to be fixed, I have staines on my carpet upstairs, the laundry is still in the basket, My streetside garden has a gravellike cover, and that needs to be replaced (tedious job, been putting it off for a long time now, maybe next spring is a wright moment..)And my dishwasher needs to be excavated. (not really)
And as i write this i think to myself: you are a rotten spoiled brat, get off your lazy back and spring into action..
